Greenlight “Family Hub Employee Referral Offer” Terms
Effective Date: October 27, 2026
These Greenlight Family Hub Employee Referral Offer Terms (“Employee Referral Terms”) are the Special Promotion Terms for the limited-time Greenlight Family Hub Employee Referral Offer (the “Program”), a Promotion under the Greenlight Promotions General Terms & Conditions at https://greenlight.com/promotionsgeneralterms (“Promotion Terms”). The Greenlight Referral Program Terms and Conditions at https://share.greenlight.com/zone/terms (“Referral Terms”) also govern referral-link sharing, as modified by Section 7 below. The Greenlight Family Hub Employee Referral Contest Official Rules (the “Official Rules”) govern the related prize contest among Employee Referrers (the “Contest”). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Promotion Terms or, if not defined there, the Referral Terms. If these documents conflict, the order of precedence is: (1) these Employee Referral Terms, which, as the Promotion Terms provide, control over the Promotion Terms as to Program-specific eligibility, qualification, benefit, and fulfillment mechanics; (2) the Promotion Terms; and (3) the Referral Terms; provided that the Official Rules control as to the Contest. Greenlight’s account, cardholder, funding, subscription, privacy, and product terms continue to govern the underlying accounts, devices, and services. Greenlight’s employment policies continue to govern Employee Referrers as described in Section 11.
1. Sponsor and Eligibility
Greenlight Financial Technology, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Greenlight” or “Sponsor”), sponsors and administers the Program, directly or through service providers. The Program is open only to natural persons who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, are at least 18 years old and the age of majority in their state of residence, have legal capacity to accept these Employee Referral Terms, and meet the Employee Referrer or Recipient requirements in Section 3 (each, a “Participant”). The Program is void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and possessions, and wherever prohibited by law. Notwithstanding Section 3 of the Promotion Terms and Section 10 of the Referral Terms, eligible Greenlight employees may participate as Employee Referrers as provided in Section 3.1. The Program is not open to persons prohibited under sanctions laws, including those on the U.S. Treasury’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List. A minor may not act as an Employee Referrer or Recipient, share a referral link, or claim any benefit; the Promotion Terms’ provisions for a parent or guardian to participate on a minor’s behalf do not apply; and any minor’s use of Family Hub must occur only through an eligible adult’s account under the applicable Greenlight terms.
2. Promotion Period
The Program begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 27, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2026, unless modified, suspended, or terminated earlier under Section 10 (the “Promotion Period”). An Employee Referral Link may be used only during the Promotion Period, and only after Greenlight has issued it under Section 3.1. Orders placed after the Promotion Period ends are not eligible for the Device Discount or the Subscription Benefit, even if placed using an Employee Referral Link.
Greenlight’s systems are the official record of sign-ups, link issuance, purchases, activations, referral attribution, and claims, subject to correction of verified errors in those systems.
3. Employee Referrers, Recipients, and Device Discount
3.1 Employee Referrers
An individual who is employed by Greenlight, (excluding independent contractors, consultants, and temporary or staffing-agency workers) and who is eligible under Section 1 may act as an “Employee Referrer” (the “you” in the Referral Terms) by completing the sign-up form Greenlight shares through internal employee announcements to request a referral code. After processing the sign-up, Greenlight will issue the Employee Referrer a unique referral link and/or code (the “Employee Referral Link”, a Referral Link under the Referral Terms). An Employee Referrer may use only the Employee Referral Link issued to that Employee Referrer and must share it personally, under Section 8. An Employee Referrer’s Employee Referral Link will be disabled, and no further referrals will be attributed to it, if the Employee Referrer’s employment with Greenlight ends for any reason.
3.2 Recipients
A “Recipient” is an eligible adult residing in the United Stateswho uses an Employee Referral Link to purchase a new Greenlight Family Hub 15-inch device or Greenlight Family Hub 10-inch device (each, an “Eligible Device”) during the Promotion Period. Existing and former Greenlight customers may be Recipients, subject to Section 4 for the Subscription Benefit. A Recipient must be a US based individual
3.3 Device Discount
A Recipient who purchases an Eligible Device using a valid Employee Referral Link during the Promotion Period receives $60 off a Family Hub 15-inch device or $40 off a Family Hub 10-inch device, applied automatically at checkout at Greenlight’s Shopify account (the “Device Discount”). The Recipient must confirm the discount appears before ordering; if the link is invalid, expired, altered, disabled, or not properly attributed, standard pricing applies, and no retroactive discount is available except to correct a verified Greenlight system error. To request that correction, the Recipient must submit the order number, the order email address, and any other reasonably necessary information by contacting Greenlight Customer Service at 1-888-483-2645 within 14 days after the order date; if Greenlight’s records show the link was valid, unexpired, and properly attributable at purchase, Greenlight will apply the Device Discount and record the referral. The Device Discount applies only to the Eligible Device line item, and cannot be combined with the Greenlight Family Hub Referrals Promotion discount or any other device discount, coupon, employee code, rebate, or promotional device offer unless checkout expressly permits it; an order carrying another device discount otherwise does not qualify. The Device Discount and Subscription Benefit have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not a retroactive price adjustment.
4. Family Hub+ Subscription Benefit
A Recipient may claim one promotional year of Family Hub+ at no subscription charge (approximate value up to $180) (the “Subscription Benefit”) only if the Recipient (a) has never subscribed to, received, or claimed a free trial or promotion for Family Hub+; (b) purchases an Eligible Device using a valid Employee Referral Link during the Promotion Period; (c) activates the Eligible Device and claims the Subscription Benefit within thirty (30) days after the order date (the “Activation Period”); and (d) accepts the automatic-renewal disclosures presented upon purchase or as otherwise disclosed by Greenlight.
The Subscription Benefit begins when activated; purchasing or activating a device alone does not start a subscription. Only one free or discounted Family Hub+ benefit applies per customer or account; if more than one applies, Greenlight will apply the first validly claimed or the offer-priority rules disclosed at claim, without duplication, extension, transfer, or cash conversion. If the Recipient does not timely claim, declines, or does not complete the payment-method and consent steps, the Subscription Benefit expires without value. Existing Greenlight Family Hub+ customers can use the Subscription Benefit to add an additional twelve (12) months onto an existing Greenlight Family Hub+ subscription.
Greenlight will provide renewal and price-change notices required by law. These terms control over the Greenlight Device and subscription terms located at https://greenlight.com/device-terms (“Family Hub+ Subscription Terms”) as to the promotional year’s duration and price. If the qualifying purchase is canceled, returned, refunded, charged back, reversed, unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise disqualified, Greenlight may revoke the Subscription Benefit, but revocation will not result in a paid subscription charge unless the Recipient separately and affirmatively agrees to continue Family Hub+ as a paid subscription.
5. Employee Referrer Recognition; No Per-Referral Reward
5.1 Qualifying Referrals and Attribution
A “Qualifying Referral” is a purchase of an Eligible Device that meets each of the following: (a) an eligible Recipient purchases the Eligible Device using the Employee Referrer’s valid Employee Referral Link during the Promotion Period, with the Device Discount applied or a verified system error corrected under Section 3.3; (b) the purchase is not canceled, returned, refunded, reversed, or charged back as of the verification date stated in the Official Rules; (c) neither Participant used duplicate, fictitious, or manipulated accounts, devices, payment methods, identities, or transactions; and (d) both Participants complied with these terms, the Promotion Terms, and the Referral Terms, to the extent applicable. Only one Employee Referrer may be credited per Recipient, device, or order; the valid Employee Referral Link recorded on the completed order controls attribution, and Greenlight will not divide, duplicate, transfer, or reassign credit except to correct a verified system error.
5.2 Contest Prizes; No Per-Referral Reward
Employee Referrers do not earn the Family Hub Referral Reward, Referral Reward, Parent Wallet credit, or any other per-referral reward under the Referral Terms or any other Greenlight referral promotion for Qualifying Referrals made through an Employee Referral Link. Instead, Qualifying Referrals are counted for the Contest, in which the three (3) eligible Employee Referrers with the most Qualifying Referrals will win Amazon gift cards of $500 (1st place), $250 (2nd place), and $100 (3rd place), as described in, and solely subject to, the Official Rules. Amazon is not a sponsor or administrator of the Program or the Contest.
6. Taxes, Forfeiture, and Reversal
Greenlight may withhold, cancel, or reverse credit for a Qualifying Referral, the Device Discount, or the Subscription Benefit if (a) the underlying purchase or activation is canceled, returned, refunded, charged back, reversed, unauthorized, fraudulent, duplicated, or otherwise disqualified; (b) credit or a benefit was given in error; (c) a Participant provided inaccurate or misleading information or violated these terms, the Promotion Terms, the Referral Terms, or (for Employee Referrers) the Official Rules or applicable Greenlight employment policies; or (d) applicable law requires it.
7. Referral Terms Incorporation
The Referral Terms apply to each Employee Referrer’s sharing of an Employee Referral Link, but these terms control where they conflict, including that: (a) Sections 1 through 6 above govern eligibility, benefits, amount, form, and timing, and the employee exclusion in Section 10 of the Referral Terms does not apply to Employee Referrers; (b) a Recipient need not meet the “Referred Customer” conditions in Section 4, or the registration, 35-day minimum-tenure, or Monthly Fee conditions for acceptance in Section 5, of the Referral Terms; (c) the Recipient receives only the Device Discount and, if eligible, the Subscription Benefit, not the matching Primary Account credit in Section 5 of the Referral Terms; (d) Employee Referrers receive no Referral Reward and are eligible only for Contest prizes under the Official Rules, which do not count toward the $600 calendar-year Referral Reward cap in Section 8 of the Referral Terms; (e) referring an Eligible Device is a permitted promotional purpose under Section 8 of the Referral Terms; (f) the minor, parent or guardian, and teen provisions of Sections 1, 5, and 6 of the Referral Terms do not apply; (g) Program changes are governed by Section 10 rather than the no-notice modification rights in Sections 8 and 16 of the Referral Terms; (h) the sharing permissions and restrictions in Section 8 below control over Sections 3 and 11 of the Referral Terms; and (i) the Promotion Terms’ governing-law, dispute-resolution, release, and limitation-of-liability provisions govern the Program as to Recipients and control over Sections 13, 14, and 16 of the Referral Terms. Each Employee Referrer’s compliance, anti-spam, and indemnification obligations under Sections 10 through 12 of the Referral Terms continue to apply.
8. Employee Referrer Conduct
An Employee Referrer may share the Employee Referral Link (a) through personal communications (such as personal email, text message, or direct message) with adult friends, family members, and acquaintances with whom the Employee Referrer has a genuine relationship and a reasonable basis to believe the communication is welcome, and (b) notwithstanding Section 11 of the Referral Terms, by posting on the Employee Referrer’s own personal social media profiles.
An Employee Referrer must: (a) clearly and conspicuously disclose, in each referral message or post, both the Employee Referrer’s employment with Greenlight and the Employee Referrer’s eligibility for a prize, as required by Section 9 of the Referral Terms and the FTC’s Endorsement Guides, by stating, “I work at Greenlight and may win a prize if you buy a Family Hub using my link,” or substantially similar language that clearly communicates the material connection (on social media, the disclosure must appear in the post itself, not only in a profile or behind a “more” link, and may be supplemented with a hashtag such as #GreenlightEmployee); (b) accurately describe the Recipient’s benefits and material limits, including the Promotion Period, that the Device Discount varies by device, and that the Subscription Benefit has eligibility limits and renews automatically unless canceled; (c) comply with Greenlight’s Code of Conduct, social media policy, and other applicable employee policies; and (d) comply with applicable advertising, endorsement, privacy, and electronic-communications laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
An Employee Referrer may not: (i) send bulk, automated, or unsolicited referral messages; (ii) post the link on coupon, discount, rebate, or deal-aggregation sites, or on any Greenlight-owned channel, page, or account; (iii) purchase search, social, or other advertising, or boost or promote posts, to distribute the link; (iv) use Greenlight customer, prospect, or other confidential information, internal systems, or work contact lists to identify or contact potential Recipients; (v) use the link for resale, affiliate marketing, or lead generation; (vi) make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about Greenlight or Family Hub, or make statements beyond the approved talking points about product performance, pricing, or financial benefits; (vii) state or imply that the Employee Referrer speaks on behalf of Greenlight; (viii) use Greenlight intellectual property except as permitted in approved Program materials; (ix) offer or pay any cash, rebate, gift, or other incentive to a Recipient to purchase, or purchase or fund a device for a Recipient; (x) create or control a Recipient’s account or conceal a self-referral or duplicate referral; or (xi) otherwise interfere with the Program’s or the Contest’s operation or intended purpose. Greenlight may disable a link used in violation of this Section 8, and violations may also be addressed under applicable Greenlight employment policies.
9. Privacy and Administration
An Employee Referral Link identifies the Employee Referrer and allows Greenlight and its service providers to associate the link with the Recipient’s order, activation, Subscription Benefit claim, and Qualifying Referral credit. Greenlight processes personal information for the Program as described in Section 10 of the Promotion Terms and the Greenlight Privacy Statement at https://privacy.greenlight.com/policies.
An Employee Referrer must not include a child’s personal information (including a child’s name, photograph, contact information, school, account or financial information, or precise location) in a referral message or post or otherwise submit it through the Program. An Employee Referrer will receive only limited information showing the number of the Employee Referrer’s pending and credited Qualifying Referrals, and not the Recipient’s identity, account, transaction, or activation information, and must not use Greenlight systems to look up Recipient information.
Consistent with Sections 4 and 5 of the Promotion Terms, Greenlight may verify eligibility, employment status, purchases, activations, account status, referral attribution, returns, and compliance, and may request information reasonably necessary to administer the Program, investigate suspected fraud or abuse, correct errors, meet tax obligations, or comply with law; failure to respond within ten (10) days after the request may delay, deny, or forfeit the affected benefit or credit.
A display of a referral, Qualifying Referral count, standing, or benefit does not create an entitlement inconsistent with these terms or Greenlight’s underlying records. Section 7 of the Promotion Terms governs message-delivery and Internet, carrier, device, browser, platform, and referral-attribution failures outside Greenlight’s reasonable control, without limiting Greenlight’s obligation to correct verified errors in its own systems or any non-waivable consumer right.
10. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
To the extent permitted by law and consistent with Sections 2 and 7 of the Promotion Terms, Greenlight may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program prospectively, including for changes to its business terms or functionality, fraud, abuse, or manipulation, technical or security concerns, unavailability of a service provider or reward, legal or regulatory requirements, or other circumstances outside Greenlight’s reasonable control that materially impair Program administration.
Greenlight will give notice of a material change through the Program webpage, internal employee announcements, email, or another reasonable channel, update the “Last Updated” date, and apply the change no earlier than its stated effective date. No change, suspension, or termination will reduce a Device Discount or Subscription Benefit already applied or properly claimed, and a qualifying purchase completed before a change takes effect remains governed by the terms then in effect, except as required by law or permitted by the fraud, error, return, chargeback, reversal, or disqualification provisions above. Changes to the Contest are governed by the Official Rules.
11. Employment Matters
Participation as an Employee Referrer is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of employment, a job duty, or a factor in performance evaluation, compensation, or advancement, and Greenlight will not take adverse action against any employee for choosing not to participate. Nothing in these terms or the Official Rules creates a contract of employment, alters the at-will nature of employment, or modifies any Greenlight employment policy, benefit plan, or agreement. If these terms conflict with Greenlight’s Code of Conduct, social media policy, or other employment policies, the more restrictive provision applies to the Employee Referrer’s conduct. [Non-exempt employees should share referral links only outside of working time.] Disputes between Greenlight and an Employee Referrer arising from the Employee Referrer’s participation are governed by [the Employee Referrer’s existing dispute-resolution agreement with Greenlight, if any, and otherwise by the Promotion Terms].
12. General Terms
The Promotion Terms’ release, limitation-of-liability, dispute-resolution and arbitration, governing-law, severability, and notice provisions are incorporated here, subject to Section 11 as to Employee Referrers. Participation requires acceptance of these terms, the Promotion Terms, and the Referral Terms; for Employee Referrers, the Official Rules; and, for Recipients claiming the Subscription Benefit, the Family Hub+ Subscription Terms. Greenlight’s failure to enforce a provision does not waive it. The Program’s Recipient benefits are not a sweepstakes, contest, lottery, or chance-based promotion; the Contest is a skill- and performance-based contest open only to Employee Referrers, in which winners are determined solely by the number of Qualifying Referrals and not by chance.
A Recipient not bound by the dispute-resolution provisions of Greenlight’s Terms of Service may opt out of arbitration under Section 6 of the Promotion Terms by sending written notice stating the Recipient’s name, mailing address, and account or order email address and clearly stating that the Recipient opts out of arbitration, to Greenlight Financial Technology, Inc., 303 Peachtree St., NE, Suite 4300, Atlanta, GA 30308, Attn: Legal, with a copy to legal@greenlight.com, within 30 days after completing a qualifying purchase. Dispute notices under Section 6 of the Promotion Terms go to the same address.
