Greenlight® Family Cash Card

Greenlight Financial Technology, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Greenlight”) markets and distributes the Greenlight® Mastercard Prepaid Card, a debit card for kids (the “Greenlight Prepaid Card”), and related products and services that parents manage from mobile phones, tablets and other portable devices (the “Greenlight App”).  Greenlight has worked with First National Bank of Omaha, member FDIC (“FNBO”), to develop the new Greenlight Family Cash Mastercard (“Greenlight Family Cash Card”), a Mastercard credit card which offers up to 3% cash back¹ to eligible cardholders². 

Eligible Applicants for the Greenlight Family Cash Card Program

Greenlight is excited to partner with FNBO in order to offer the Greenlight Family Cash Card solely to primary accountholders of the Greenlight Prepaid Card program who are residents of the United States, and at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at time of entry (“Eligible Applicants”).  Signing up is easy – just provide us your name and email address, then verify your email address by clicking the “Verify Email” link in the email verification notice you will receive by email from Greenlight.  Please note that anyone over the age of 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at time of entry) can sign up for the Waitlist (as defined below) (each a “Waitlist Eligible Consumer”), but they will be unable to come off the Waitlist and apply for the Greenlight Family Cash Card unless they are also an Eligible Applicant (e.g., also a primary accountholder of the Greenlight Prepaid Card).

Waitlist Promotion Description

In advance of the general public release of the Greenlight Family Cash Card, Greenlight is inviting Eligible Applicants and Waitlist Eligible Consumers to join a waitlist (the “Waitlist”) of interested consumers to become among the initial 1,000 Eligible Applicants to be provided with early access to submit an application to enroll in the Greenlight Family Cash Card program before it is made generally available to the public at large (“Early Access”).  In addition to Early Access to the Greenlight Family Cash Card program, the initial 1,000 Eligible Applicants will also be eligible to receive a cash incentive payment of $100.00 and have their monthly subscription fees for their Greenlight Prepaid Card waived for a period of three months (the “Promotion”) after completing all of the Promotion Eligibility Requirements (as defined below)³.  In order to sign up for the Waitlist, you must provide your name and email address, then verify your email address by clicking the “Verify Email” link in the email verification notice you will receive by email from Greenlight.  

Determination of Status on Waitlist

The Promotion is solely open to Eligible Applicants, and is void where prohibited by applicable law.  In order to be considered one of the first 1,000 Eligible Applicants on the Waitlist to apply for the Family Cash Card, an Eligible Applicant must (i) register for the Waitlist between May 17, 2022 and July 22, 2022 (the “Qualification Period”), and (ii) be one of the first 1,000 Eligible Applicants to register during the Qualification Period after accounting for adjustments due to referrals of other Eligible Applicants as described below.  

At the end of the Qualification Period, Greenlight will first sort all Eligible Applicants who have made Qualified Referrals (each a “Referring Party”) by the number of Qualified Referrals of other Eligible Applicants that have been submitted by such Referring Party (the “Referral Ranking”).  To be considered a “Qualified Referral”, the referred Eligible Applicant must sign up for the Waitlist using the referral link provided by the Referring Party and must verify their email address in the manner described above.  After determining the Referral Ranking of each Referring Party (e.g., Referring Party with the most Qualified Referrals is at the top of the Waitlist), then Greenlight will sort all Referring Parties with the same Referral Ranking (e.g., same number of Qualified Referrals) by the date and time that the Referring Party confirmed their email address (according to Greenlight’s email server) after submitting a valid Waitlist application.  After accounting for all Referring Parties that have made at least one Qualified Referral, then the remainder of the Waitlist will be sorted by the date and time that the Eligible Applicant confirmed their email address (according the Greenlight’s email server) after submitting a valid Waitlist application.  

While eligibility for the Promotion will expire after the end of the Qualification Period, you will be able to continue to register for the Waitlist up until the official launch date of the Greenlight Family Cash Card Program.

Promotion Eligibility Requirements

The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico and all United States territories and possessions), who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, and who are a Primary Accountholder of a Greenlight Prepaid Card account. Employees (and their immediate families or those living in the same household) of Greenlight, FNBO, and Community Federal Savings Bank (“CFSB”), the issuer of the Greenlight Prepaid Card, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, parents and related companies, suppliers, printers and advertising, promotional and judging agencies are not eligible to enter. Individuals who appear on the U.S. Government Department of Treasury’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List are also not eligible to enter.

The first 1,000 Eligible Applicants (using the sorting procedure described above) will be eligible to exit the Waitlist and apply for and receive a Greenlight Family Cash Card if they are approved by FNBO using their standard underwriting and eligibility criteria (each, an “Approved Applicant”).  Each Approved Applicant is qualified to earn the Promotion by successfully completing the following steps (the “Promotion Eligibility Requirements”): (i) become an Approved Applicant; (ii) activate your Greenlight Family Cash Card within 15 days after it is issued; and (iii) make $750.00 in eligible point of sale or online purchases within the first 90 days after your Greenlight Family Cash Card is activated.  The maximum number of Eligible Applicants who can receive the Promotion by successfully completing the Promotion Eligibility Requirements is limited to 1,000.

What does being on the waitlist mean? 

Joining the Waitlist does not obligate you to apply for the Greenlight Family Cash Card.   

Joining the Waitlist does not guarantee you will be approved for the Greenlight Family Cash Card. 

Joining the waitlist and referring friend(s) does not guarantee you will be approved for the Greenlight Family Cash Card nor does it guarantee you will receive the Promotion described above - you still have to meet all other Promotion Eligibility Requirements. 

Terms and Conditions of Promotion

Each Waitlist position is not transferable or assignable. The following are additional terms and conditions binding on Eligible Applicants:

1. All federal, state, local tax liabilities and any applicable fees associated with participation in this Promotion are the sole responsibility of the Eligible Applicants. 

2. If an Eligible Applicant declines a position on the Waitlist, or if an Eligible Applicant has not complied with these Terms & Conditions, such person shall be disqualified. 

3. No transfer, substitution, division or splitting of the position on the Waitlist is allowed except in the sole discretion of Greenlight.

4. Decisions of Greenlight are final with respect to all matters related to the conduct of the Promotion.  An Eligible Applicant may be disqualified from participating in this Promotion for cheating or other bad faith acts in the sole discretion of Greenlight.

5. By participating in this Promotion, Eligible Applicants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. 

Conduct of Participation 

By entering the Promotion, Eligible Applicant affirms that he or she has read and agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions and the decisions of Greenlight.  Greenlight reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Applicant acting in violation of these Terms & Conditions or found tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Promotion. As a condition of entering this Promotion, each Eligible Applicant agrees that: (a) under no circumstances will the Eligible Applicant be entitled or permitted to obtain awards for, and the Eligible Applicant expressly waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than actual, out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and in no event shall attorney’s fees be recoverable by either party; and (b) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Promotion shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.  ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ELIGIBLE APPLICANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE RELATED TO GREENLIGHT OR THE PROMOTION OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, GREENLIGHT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH ELIGIBLE APPLICANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitations of Liability 

Released Parties (as defined herein) are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entries, errors in calculations, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; printing or other errors; and any entries or mail which are late, lost, delayed, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, postage due or any combination thereof.  Greenlight reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Promotion or these Terms & Conditions in the event that it becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond Greenlight’s control, as determined by Greenlight in its sole and exclusive discretion, including without limitation, Acts of God, pandemic, epidemic, “shelter in place” and similar orders and other governmental actions. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Greenlight may decide to postpone deadlines herein, or terminate the Promotion early. In the event the Promotion is terminated early, the Waitlist will be selected from all eligible entries received at the time of termination. 

Release of Liability; Indemnity

By participating, Eligible Applicants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Greenlight, FNBO,  and each of its respective affiliated entities, affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and companies, and all of its respective officers, directors, shareholders and principals, employees, representatives, and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”), from and against any claims made by any Eligible Applicants or any other third parties related in any way to the operation of this Promotion, as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses (whether alleged, threatened, or actual) to any person or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Promotion or any related activity. Eligible Applicants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this.

Miscellaneous 

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms & Conditions will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Greenlight's failure to enforce any term of these Terms & Conditions will not constitute a waiver of that provision. Eligible Applicants agree to waive any rights to claim ambiguity of these Terms & Conditions. Headings are solely for convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of the documents or any provision hereof. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion-related materials and/or privacy policy or terms of use on the website, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Greenlight’s sole and absolute discretion.

Privacy / Publicity / Use of Personal Information 

By participating in the Promotion, Eligible Applicant hereby consents to Greenlight’s or its authorized agents’ collection, use, and disclosure of Eligible Applicant’s personal information for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Each Eligible Applicant acknowledges that he/she has read, understood and accepted Greenlight’s Privacy Policy, which provides more information about Greenlight’s privacy practices and is located at https://www.greenlight.com/privacy.html.  Greenlight’s Privacy Policy is in addition to those terms in these Terms & Conditions concerning privacy, use of personal information, and publicity.

Eligible Applicants may be offered the optional opportunity to receive coupons, newsletters, informational materials, marketing communications, or other special promotions, or other offers from Greenlight and/or third-party service providers. Eligible Applicants will not be contacted for marketing purposes unless they have provided their express consent.

Greenlight reserves the right to amend the above Terms & Conditions at any time, and any updated Terms & Conditions will be effective as of date they are published on the Greenlight website.
